Pete: Patton oswalt  Dwarven Wizard: Only a single Surviving Parent. His father. Bad blood between them. The youngest child of a large family who have banished him from their Dwarven homland in the Underwell mountains. Where they rule mercilessly and are reviled and hated by the locals. 

Patton Oswalt only benifit from his ruling family was access to a well stocked library. His father (not able to read) mistakely thought if punishement to lock him up for days as achild in the library, without any food or drink. Quick witted Oswalt read every book and scrap of information.... as a result of his fathers severe punishments he can relate some obscure fact about almost every subject (+1 knowlege checks in any field)
